India was invited to bat first and scored 181 runs in 20 overs by losing 7 wickets Sunday evening in the Super Four game of the Asia Cup 2022. Virat Kohli turned up top batter for the team pocketing 60 runs off 44 balls. Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul contributed decently with 28 runs each.

Shadab Khan pocketed 2 wickets sparing 31 runs while the rest wickets were picked by Mohammad Hasnain, Mohammad Nawaz, Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf.

Some significant changes were made in the India Playing XI compared to last game against Pakistan. Dinesh Karthik was replaced with Rishabh Pant and Hardik Pandya made a return. Spectators witnessed first-look of Ravi Bishnoi and Avesh Khan had to remain away due to fever. Ravindra Jadeja was out for his knee injury.

Pakistan made a minor change with Mohammed Hasnain replacing Shahnawaz Dahani.
