As I watch the Bills steamroll through the Titans I want to continue to remind everyone we still have 3 Tuesdays worth of MLB baseball left. Hoping for a double-up sweep to close the season. I will be a little brief today as I got home a little later than expected. Analysis may not be as in-depth, but the research and picks will still be solid. Along with my sarcasm.
I’ll be bringing you my DFS picks for the main evening slate on Tuesday, June 7th, 2022. If you play on DraftKings, it is a 11-game slate starting at 6:05 Central time. This article will be primarily focused on the DraftKings slate, so if you play on Fanduel I encourage you to sign up for the DFS tools to help you make the best decisions for your lineups on FanDuel, DraftKings, and Yahoo.
New to DFS? You can start playing right now on FanDuel and put our picks to the test. If you’re scared of feeling like a small fish in a big pond, be sure to read our content and subscribe to the DFS Bot for your daily baseball plays. Luis Castillo, P: $9,100. I’m not paying up $11,000 for Dylan Cease, and somehow Adam Wainwright is more expensive vs the Padres than Castillo against the A’s. Castillo has quality starts in 11 of 13 and has at least 8 K’s in 9 of those starts. The A’s have an MLB worst .626 OPS. Gimme some Castillo
Nestor Cortes. P: $9,800. I really wanted to make a value play here, but there just isn’t one. Nestor gets the Pirates and their 28th ranked .650 OPS and 2nd worst K rate in MLB.
Joey Bart, C: $2,800. Bart couldn’t hit his way out of a paper bag lately, but he is in Coors. And he’s cheap. Slump-Buster Coors be thy Name!
Ty France, 1B: $3,900. France has 2 Home Runs in his last 4 games. JP Sears will oppose him in Oakland on Tuesday. Should be a solid match-up
Vaughn Grissom, 2B: $3,800. Grissom gets to take on Patrick Corbin tonight. Braves over should be in play tonight. Grissom is hitting .302 in relief of Albies with a little pop. 5 Home runs so far.
Austin Riley, 3B: $5,400. Riley has really slowed down at the plate after his torrid first half. Still has 36 Home Runs on the season and is hitting .278. He’s gonna try and hammer Corbin as well tonight.
Elvis Andrus, SS: $3,800. He is finally starting to get priced up, but he’s been in almost every day for me and keeps rewarding me. Hits in 13 of 15. Runs in 10 of 15. Home Runs in 4 of 15. That’s solid stuff for $3,800. He will face Aaron Civale in a must-win game for the White Sox tonight.
Aaron Judge, OF: $6,500. He has to be in your lineups tonight against the Pirates. I was at Miller Park on Sunday (Yes it’s still Miller Park to most) where he hit two Home Runs. He’s gonna go flying by Maris. Hopefully tonight.
Hunter Dozier, OF: $2,300. Dozier only has 3 hits in last 15 starts, hence the price. But he’s overall still at .229 with 10 Home Runs. He’ll face Dylan Bundy who has struggled lately.
Robbie Grossman, OF: $2,500. Grossman has 3 Home runs in his last ten games and may have discovered some of last year’s magic again. Either way against Corbin he should start and hopefully find some success.
I’m Only Happy When It Rains
There are potential weather issues in Oakland of all places so keep an eye on the Castillo and France plays. Also possible storms in Chicago.

I’m on the Angels at a slight plus money price of +110 against the Rangers.
