The Cheshire Phoenix have moved quickly to announce another addition to their roster for the 2023/24 season, as American wing Maceo Jack returns to the club for a second consecutive season.
The Buffalo, New York native joined the Phoenix part-way through the 2022/23 season and provided the Nix Nation with some incredible high-flying dunks, averaging just under 10 points and five rebounds per game as he helped the team reach the Trophy Final and record a fifth-placed finish in the Championship.
Following confirmation of his signing with the Phoenix for a second season, Jack said:
“I’m excited to rejoin the Phoenix for a second year and looking forward to building upon what we did last year and reaching new heights.”
Cheshire Head Coach Ben Thomas added:
“We’re really happy to have Maceo back with us for another season. He continued to improve as the season went on and we know he will carry on in the same way next year. Over the past month and a half Maceo has shown his versatility in playing multiple positions on floor and putting the teams needs first. This is definitely the team-first type of player we need at our club and something we will be building on with the rest of the squad.”
