Gopalakrishnan from Kent and Ng then teamed up to emerge victorious in the girls’ doubles 21-16 19-21 21-12 against Katie Carr and Risheka Sathyanathan.
There were more double golds at the Milton Keynes Senior Gold tournament with Abbygael Harris and Brandon Yap leading the way.

Teaming up with Hope Warner, Derbyshire’s Harris made the finals of the women’s doubles having come through a dominant semi-final.
Against Devon Minnis and Stephanie Pinharry, Harris and Warner triumphed 21-6 21-15 before winning the final with a walkover.
Harris would face Minnis again in the finals of the mixed doubles, with Harris taking the win for the second time.
Alongside Yap, Harris beat out Jonty Russ and Lucy Dodd 21-7 21-10 en route to the final where they overcame Minnis and Adam Porter 21-13 21-9 to take the title.
The gold rush continued for Essex’s Yap with victory in the men’s doubles as he partnered Alex Green as the top seeds.
Facing Koon Fung Kelvin Ho and Samuel Ricketts in the final, Yap and Green earned gold with an assured performance, winning 21-16 21-17.
Keerti Nalik upset the order at the Under-15 gold tournament in Warwick as the 3 /4 seed claimed the girl’s singles title, as the top seeds triumphed around her.
The Warwickshire player emerged victorious on home soil, beating out Yashica Racharla of Wiltshire 21-14 21-13 in the final.
Elsewhere, Mebel Mano Kurian lived up to his billing as top seed in both the mixed doubles and boy’s doubles, alongside Sia Pandit and Aarav Sujith respectively.
Finally, a reminder for all county champions that the deadline to enter for the SCC Champions of Champions Tournament is 15 October.
