Canadian sport management consultancy Capitis Consulting Inc. is conducting an important research initiative aimed at gathering meaningful and impactful information on how the Covid-19 pandemic has impacted Canadian amateur sport at grassroots level in sport clubs, associations and leagues, particularly with respect to capacity levels in the forms of staff, volunteers and balance sheet strength.
We are supportive of the research and encourage you to complete the survey (link below in French and English) to help us all gain a clearer understanding of the pandemic’s impact on all of amateur sport across the nation.
Note that survey is quite comprehensive and does ask for some sensitive information (largely related to HR and finances). To that end, be assured that the survey responses are anonymous and individual data sets will not be released by Capitis Consulting to any parties (unless under compulsory Court Order) – confidentiality in your responses is assured.
Note also that Capitis Consulting is offering respondents who complete the survey a complimentary week-long rental of the first of its new sport business e-tutorial series, on The Fundamentals Of Sport Governance. This will doubtless offer some strong complimentary professional development for your Boards and/or executive leadership. You can check out the tutorial’s trailer right here.
Finally, note that the deadline for survey response submission is slated for Sunday, April 3, 2022.
Many thanks for your support in this initiative! The survey links are as follows:
